Our President - Stephen J. Chaney
Steve is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative with over 20 years of training and experience providing financial and risk management advice. Steve worked for twenty one years at a Fortune 500 financial and risk management firm where he held positions in management and marketing. Steve received numerous commendations including the Pacesetter award for overall job performance and the coveted Eagle Spirit award for customer service.
Chaney Capital Management was established as a fee based advisory firm to ensure clients receive truly objective advice.
Steve is the President and Chief Compliance Officer for Chaney Capital Management. Steve graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration where he majored in economics and minored in real estate. Steve has an extensive background in finance and risk management.
In 1995, Steve founded his own independent fee based investment advisory firm, Chaney Capital Management, Inc. Steve began his firm with the strong belief that his clients deserve comprehensive financial advice without the pressure of being sold products.
Steve resides in Snohomish Washington with his wife Sherry.
When not at work, he enjoys kayaking in the many estuaries and rivers that make up the Pacific Northwest.

Sherrill R. Horn, Administrative Assistant
Sherrill is responsible for the administrative, accounting and supervision of the day-to-day operations. She is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of our business. Sherrill has been with Chaney Capital Management since 1999.
Lynda M. Bartsch, Investment Advisor Representative
Lynda has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. She spent 10 years at a large brokerage firm where she obtained her series 7, 63 & 65 and her insurance licenses. During that time she was responsible for a wide array of duties that ranged from daily trading to account servicing. Prior to that, she worked for a large mutual fund company and an institutional investment firm.
Lynda resides in North Seattle with her husband, her children and her pets. She spends her free time with her family enjoying the activities that we are so lucky to have access to in the great Northwest.
